After graduating from Dartington College of Arts in 2006 with a BA in theatre I began making and showing theatre, performance and live art work as a solo performer and as a founder member of performance company Peoples In Pieces.
Between 2006 to 2008 Peoples In Pieces made two shows, Of Halos and Subsun and 15 Storms in a Teacup, which were developed and shown in a variety of venues across the UK and Germany including BAC (London), Arnolfini (Bristol), Chapter Arts Centre (Cardif) and Schwankhalle (Bremen, Germany). A selection of images and documentation of these two works are available to view at http://www.peoplesinpieces.blogspot.com/
In 2007 I was made an Arnolfini associate artist and became a founding member of Residence, an artist led initiative based in Bristol, http://www.residence.org.uk/.
I also co-produce and curate You and Your Work, a Bristol based performance platform showing diverse, emerging and risk taking work in a community context. http://www.youandyourwork.blogspot.com/
My current work is a one to one performance series entitled Claim to Fame , in which I attempt to build a community of strangers linked solely by their brushes with stardom, famous people they have met. It is a solo work which I have been developing since September 08 and has been shown in a variety of venues across the UK and Germany.
